PROJECT CHALLENGE
The team is presented with the online digital activities which has to be re-concepted, built, reviewed and finalized into a new digital interactive prototype. These prototypes are for K-5 Science students all across America. We are trying to establish a style and format for all future lesson plans. The lesson plan has many static and interactive prototypes. I will be presenting the vocabulary section of the lesson plan. I took into consideration not only new design layout but also newer improved user experience for the students. Build new and improved online vocabulary games
PROJECT APPROACH
I spent couple of weeks benchmarking old and new vocabulary games. Next, I worked on ideating and wireframing the initial interactive game and finally going into the final build mode. These were refined till it was approved by the Product Management and Marketing team.
PROJECT ROLE
Digital Production Designer: focused on building and testing out interactive prototypes that would work best for elementary children.
PROCESS

CONCEPT
The departments I work with collaborate together during the concepting phase to build out rough ideation mockups of the interactive vocabulary prototypes. I was provided with the manuscript from the Academic Design team. The Creative and Media teams would supply the artworks and images.

BUILD
Post concepting meetings, I started creating quick wireframe layouts. The point was to come up with different visual styles and interactions to understand the online vocabulary games.

REVIEW
The interactive prototypes are reviewed by Product Management and Marketing teams.
FINAL
Below are the final prototypes design that I built. Each of these were built in a 800px by 550px screen size. After extensive research our team has decided on a fixed page layout and these screen dimensions will work in all digital platforms such as laptops, ipads, mobile. The 550px is so that we can avoid vertical scrolling. I came up with various user experiences as well as visual style options to present these vocabulary options.
